Heard today a mate of mine should start work in the New beccles shop.
He used to work for Angling Direct.

They are still very unorganized down there but I'll be happy to shop there as the boss there seems happy to do deals.
They do seem to have a lot of match stuff there at the moment, hope that changes

Do they sell on line or just at the shop.

Are the best deals on the second hand gear.? Is it all pukka. Reason I ask is that I might be up for some bigger reels at the end of the year.

Yahoo called in at the new beccles centre before I went offshore great atmosphere in the shop now from how it used to be when Angling Direct had it Twisted Evil
Good selection of stock some good second hand rods in fact secured a pair of 'MINT' berkley B50-2's That still had shop tickets on for £140 these retailed at over that each from new.
I definately will be back to hunt out some more bargains as soon as I can but big thumbs up from the reaper

If Avenue gets this shop right, they will be some serious competition to Angling Direct.
More customers AD could loose.

Bought a Gardner barrow bag from AA earlier this year. £40 quid which was five pound cheaper than any mail order site and of course no P & P. Anging D couldnt even tell me if they would get one in! John has always done a good deal and should be recommended to all. Good luck with the Beccles shop I say.
